# The test command

It’s nice to be able to ensure that examples in documentation are current.
mdBook supports a ‘test’ command, which will use Rustdoc to test out examples:

```bash
$ mdbook test
[*]: Testing file: "/mdBook/book-example/src/README.md”
```
